QUESTIONS FOR STEVE SLOAN (Dianna Alvarez) by BETH LAHORE

BETH:
"Steve...if you could only choose ONE or the OTHER....which would you chose? a woman that looked like a bay watch babe...with a barbie doll brain ( in other words...no brains to speak of...not able to carry a conversation or put 2 and 2 together and come up with 4) or a woman that looks like Drew Carey's Mimi and has a great personality....very intelligent and interesting?"

STEVE:
"I don't think thats a fair question. By that I mean, Bay watch babe to Mimi. A women is beautiful no matter wht she looks like. As long as she loves herself and loves being loved. I guess what I'm trying to say is. I could be attracted to any women. It's what's on the inside not the outside."

BETH:
"Other than your family- who do you most admire and why?"

STEVE:
"That's a hard one, but I think I'm going to say the Police Officer friend of mine. He mad me who I am today and the Police Officer that I am. I don't know where I would be if he didn't take me under his wing per say."

BETH:
"Are You REALLY afraid of babies?" <LOL!>

STEVE:
"That's a funny question. I love babys. It's just they are so small. I feel like when I hold them I could break them or something. and then there's the mess they make. Well we won't go there." <laughs>

BETH:
"There has been great discussion by the people that follow your cases in the paper about your hair style/color. I speculate that your color and style changes often due to going undercover>? what is the real reason it changes so often?"

STEVE:
"It changes with my mood! <laugh> <pulling his fingers through his hair> No really. As most of you know I have grayed early, and unfortunately it's the hard to cover gray. So I guess you can say I've been experminting to see what color covers the best. <putting his hand to his hair> Don't you like this color. I do. I think it's the best yet. Hey you girls do it all the time. And for the hair style. Well I leave that up to the hairstylest on the set." <laugh>

BETH:
"which would be the perfect vacation for you? Dirtbiking in World Class Roslyn Washington (yes, home of Northern Exposure fame!)

Camping in the Sierras
Gambling in Monte Carlo
Hunting in Montana
Sleuthing with your Father"

STEVE:
"Well, I wouldn't mind doing all of them except the gambling. I'm not a gambling man. But if I had to pick one it would be dirt biking. I love riding my bikes. I use to do alot of desert racing. But I've been pretty busy lately. So yeah that would be it. Dirt biking."

BETH:
"Who is/was your favorite comic character...(could be anyone not necessarily a HERO...although a hero is fine or multiple catagories fine too)"

STEVE:
"Oh man. A favorite comic actor. You know who comes to mind right now? It would be Dick Van Dyke. I think he's so funny. He's so good at the art of comic acting that anyone from the age of 5 years old to 95 years old knows who he is. He can still make me laugh just by watching the old Dick Van Dyke shows."

BETH:
"And finally...what is your most favorite memory growing up?"

STEVE:
"Wow there are so many. I have to say only one? OK, Well lets see. I think it would be the Christmas' when my mother was alive. She would make such a fuzz over Christmas. Dad, Carol and I would just sit back and watch her go crazy trying to get everything together and make it just perfect. I miss that." <sadness in his eyes>
