Jana as Detective Steve Sloan
As interviewed by Dianna Alvarez
Steve Hello. I first want to thank you personally for answering
my questions.
"No problem."
These are kind of personal so I hope you don't mind. But my
readers would really like to know the answers.
"I'll let you know if they're too personal."
Are you ready to answer the questions?
"Yes, ma'am."
You are well that's great. Lets get to it them.
OK here's the first one:
1). Do you like living at the beach?
"It's wonderful! I remember the first day my father brought
me and my sister to the beach house. She was upset about moving,
but I brought her down to the beach and showed her that we could
swim every day."
2). Your father is such a great and funny person. How is it
living with him?
"It's great, and he understands that I need my space. It's
also very convenient to have another pair of eyes look at a case
when I'm stuck at three in the morning. (flashes 200-watt grin
after Dianna chuckles at his joke).
3). OK, this is one that everyone wants to know about. Your such
a gorgeous man, how come you are still single? And do you think
that you will ever get married?
"Thank you. (uncomfortable Steve smile) I guess it's simply
because 'it is easier to be a lover than a husband for the simple
reason that it is more difficult to be witty every day than to
say pretty things from time to time.' That's a Honoré de Balzac
quote from 'The Physiology of Marriage.' I'm a closet quote
collector. As for getting married, I highly doubt it because of a
past love experiences. I guess my guard is always up now."
4).And last but least. Knowing how it is being a police officer,
would you ever fall in love and marry a police officer.
"Doubtful. With the way Newman has been scheduling us down
at the precinct, we'd never have time together. Plus, having one
person in a relationship as a police officer is hard
enough."
Once again Steve thankyou for taking your time out for me. I feel
very special that you are doing this for me.
"It was my pleasure."
