Reporter: Miss Jana Moo
Chicago Times..
Steve Sloan ....played by Krys...aka Mom.
Steve: Before we begin Miss Moo, why is it that you can ask me 7
questions and the other reporters only had one or two to give me?
I'll be happy to answer them but remember once my hamburger
starts coming down the isle your questions will have to wait. As
no man should wait for his lunch, and a good hamburger is a
terrible thing to waste.
Miss Moo
Detective Sloan, when is it that you decided to become a police
officer? Why did you decide to pursue this profession?
That's an easy question...my good old granddad, he was a police
officer. He loved his job, loved getting the bad guy, loved the
fact that with a good percentage of his work there was always
closure. He lived for two words..."case closed", no
matter how long it took. Not to mention he was my mentor, there
is nothing that grandad didn't teach me. Not that my father
didn't, but my father worked long hours as a resident and
granddad retired early,so he was my other pop.
We have seen in the past that you are very overprotective of
your sister, Carol. Has anything bad ever happened to her that
gives you the incentive to want to protect her all the time?
Geez doesn't every brother want to protect his sister? Just an
instinct I have, plus I'm a guy...and hey I know guys. (Steve's
giving a sly smile here)
How many scars do you have? How many are from the job?
Would you like to count them Miss Moo? I have too many to count,
and most I would like to forget about, they only bring back
painful memories.
Have you ever considered quitting the Force? If so, for what
reason?
Only once, when I held my first partner of 2 years and watched
him die from a gun shot. He was only 24, but I realized I would
help him more by not giving up or quitting. So I stayed.
What is your favorite song and why?
"My Fathers Eyes" by Eric Clapton. It just brings me to
realize that what I will miss most in my dad is what I now see in
eyes.
If you could marry any celebrity based on your superficial
feelings for them, their talent and their looks, who would it be
and why?
Hmmm, now you said celebrity, is that male or female? Ah..Miss
Moo can't you take a joke? Even cops can be funny! I like em
spunky, wild, and full of energy. No meek and mild for me. She'd
have to balance this slightly ridged personality of mine. I want
to know I have a woman, one who throws caution to the wind...if
she threw anything else, I would have to charge her for
littering. Miss Moo, did I detect a smile there. Of course she
would be tall and blonde, and yes, I do like them attractive. The
celebrity to fit that bill would be Kristen Johnston, who plays
Sally on "Third Rock from the Sun", spunky!
My final question... do you sleep with stuffed animals?
LOL, only when I've had a little to much to drink and can't see
what I bring home from the bar. Joke Miss Moo, just another joke
from this cop. I'll be honest but you better not make me sound
like a sissy. I do not sleep with a stuffed animal BUT one sits
on my bed cause it matches my duvet. A gift from my mother when I
was 6, it was a bear of my dreams with the saddest eyes, and I so
much wanted to take it home from the store and make it happy. I
made the bear happy, my mother made me happy and now it sits as a
memory of my childhood. My dad always tried to hide it, thinking
I would enter college with it under my arm. My Dad is just such a
hoot, he thought I'd be another Mr. Bean, you know the English
actor with the bear?
Is that's it Miss Moo I smell my burger coming.
Thank you...
